Often in my life I have wondered how something was going to happen (but, I am not a control freak, no not me!) It wasn't enough for me to just trust God; I also wanted to know HOW He was going to do it. I'm sure you're not that way!

When I owned my accounting business, for years I spent lots of money on advertising. One day I realized that most of my new business did not come from the advertising, but instead came from referrals - sometimes 'out-of-the-blue'. It was not something I could budget or anticipate. In prayer I asked God about that and He said "Tina, I am your source and I promised that whatever you put your hand to will prosper. Trust Me, not advertising." Whoa, what business doesn't advertise? It didn't make any sense. But, I stopped all my advertising, and in two short years I tripled my business!

Many times we are not sure of the specific direction we are to take to reach a successful destination. I think we need to realize that our job is to 'just show up', to make ourselves available. We need to be honest, thorough and full of integrity. When we are, God blesses us with uncommon favor, open doors and more than we can ever imagine - seemingly 'out-of-the-blue'.

My desire for you today is to dedicate your work to Him and He will bless it as you walk in righteousness.
