![]() Hello, In this email I would like to share with you how you can deal with your negative past and re-frame the current challenges you face in your life... If you are suffering from issues in this moment as a result of what happened in the past, you are suffering in 'this moment' not in the past. Therefore, if you want to become stronger again, you must deal with the challenges you have now - to be able to move forwards. If you failed in the past, or didn't succeed.. none of that 'really' matters because THIS MOMENT is an opportunity to create something completely new, completely different and completely fresh. Whatever is blocking you from future success is happening now! Many people try to analyse their past to break through their current problems but this doesn’t serve the purpose to create what you desire for the future. If you are walking up a ladder and you keep slipping, your not going to reach the top if you analyse why you keep slipping, you will reach the top by discovering what you need to know to be able to reach the top. You can't build on the past that doesn't work. If you've been unhappy in the past, learn how to become happy today, don't study your past unhappiness. It is unnecessary for people to put present limits on themselves based on their past experiences, because the present is full of opportunity and possibility to create anything you want from now onwards - and the past isn’t happening right now. This is why we deal with all ‘past problems’ in this present moment as current challenges, instead of backtracking what went wrong in early childhood. Here is a simple exercise you can use that will allow you to get over your current challenges more quickly... 1. Be honest with yourself tell yourself the truth 2. Discover what your personal issue really is, without lying... 3. Figure out what you are really trying to achieve by being this way, what do you really want from this situation? 4. Once you've figured it all out, discover how you can achieve this thing 'without' the pain that you once had. 5. Learn and practice the new habit until it becomes your physical reality. Here is an example of these steps at work: 1. I don't trust people 2. I was hurt in the past 3. I really want to achieve trusting relationship 4. I can work on my communication skills, build greater rapport, learn how to respect others, trust myself, read books etc... 5. I will commit at least 7 days to build these new habit as much as I can to start trusting others to build better relationships from now onwards... With this exercise you totally discover what your problem is, re-frame it into something positive that you want to do and then practice it everyday day to achieve this new mindset. Never rely on your past negative experiences to dictate where you are heading in life. Utilize this present moment to discover what is holding you back and change your approach by making a solid commitment to yourself to build what you want for the future.
